By 2035, robots will become part of our daily lives. They will cook, clean, help kids to learn, remind older people about medicines, and make our life much easier. In simple words, robots will turn houses into smart and caring. Families will depend on robots like we depend on phones today.

According to Allison Okamura (science fellow from Hoover’s Technology Policy Accelerator), she is working on a new type of robot that can help older-age people.

Home Building Robot

In the current scenario, we will see the rise of home-building robot systems. These types of robots will help to build homes faster and cheaper. They can lift heavy materials, paint walls, and even 3D-print parts of the home. In my opinion the future houses will be stronger and finished in a shorter time.

These types of robots will also repair things inside the house. If a wall cracks or a pipe leaks, the advanced robot can check it and fix it without waiting for human command. This makes homes safer and cleaner.

Future Robot Daltanious

One of the best old cartoons, future robot Daltanious, was a strong robot hero. But in real life, robots at home will not look like giant heroes, they will still help like one. They will protect the home, check if doors are locked, and even monitor for fire or danger.

Robots inspired by fiction can also become friendly companions. They may play with kids, tell stories, or help with homework. Everyone though they won’t fight monsters like Daltanious, they will make daily life much peaceful.

Robots in Fiction

For many years, we saw robots in fiction in movies and cartoons. These stories showed robots cooking, cleaning, talking, and even having feelings. In 2035, many of this things are real.

Movies like Big Hero 6, Wall-E, and The Jetsons showed robots living with families. Even some movies also showed robots turning against humans. But in the case of 2035, they will understand emotions, speak softly, and help reduce stress. Fiction helped us to dream, and now technology is turning those dreams into real home helpers.

Regal Robots

The term “regal robots” refers to robots that look premium and elegant. These robots are designed only for rich homes and luxury spaces. They might have shiny bodies, smooth movements, and soft voices. Some robots can even welcome guests at the door and serve drinks to customers.

But normal homes will have simple versions of these robots. Their goal is to make life smooth, calm, and safe.

Humans or Robots

There it comes, the big question where people ask, humans or robots. Who will do the work in future? In my opinion the answer is both.

Robots will not replace humans completely in the next 50 years; they will handle boring, tiring, or dangerous jobs. Humans will still make the decisions, show emotions, and do creative work. Robots will act as helpers, not rulers.

The work between humans and robots will make families stronger and more relaxed.

How Much Do Robots Cost?

Right now, many people ask, “How much do robots cost?”

Today, a basic home robot can cost from a few hundred dollars to several thousand dollars. The Tesla Optimus Robot cost around $20,000 to $30,000.

But by 2035, prices will drop. Robots will become as common as smartphones. Most families will be able to buy cleaning robots, cooking robots, robot pets, and helper robots. The more people buy them, the more cheaper we get.

Are There AI Robots?

The question is, are there AI robots today?
Absolutely.

Many robots already use AI to learn, talk, and make decisions. By 2035, AI robots will understand our emotions, recognize faces, and adjust their work depending on our mood. Imagine you are tired, they may dim the lights and play calm songs to relax.

AI robots will make houses feel more alive and caring.

What Robots Will Do in Future Homes

I can’t wait to see what robots will do in future homes.

Here are my simple predictions:

  • Cook meals and prepare snacks
  • Clean floors, wash dishes, and fold clothes
  • Teach children with games
  • Help elderly people walk and take medicine
  • Watch over the home at night
  • Control temperature, lights, and safety systems
  • Cheer people when they feel sad

FAQ SECTION

What are 5 negatives of robots?

  1. Robots can be expensive for some families.
  2. They need electricity and updates to work well.
  3. Too much robot help can make people lazy.
  4. Robots may collect data, which needs protection.
  5. If broken, repairs might be costly.

What can be wrong with a robot?

A robot can stop working, misunderstand commands, run out of battery, or face any glitches in software. Sometimes sensors may fail, this can issue all over the robotic-human relationship.

What is the danger of robots?

Robots are usually safe, but dangers include:

  • Incorrect programming
  • Lack of safety checks
  • Data misuse
  • Over-reliance by humans

He focuses on the psychological and behavioral side of technology—how people interact with robots, why humans trust calm machines, and why AI communication often feels emotionally safer than human conversations.

Through consistent work on topics such as home robots, companion AI, AI communication behavior, and digital psychology, Asif builds topical depth by connecting research insights with everyday human experiences. His goal is to explain how robots and AI realistically influence daily life, decision-making, and human behavior—without exaggeration or speculation.
